When Ross & Ross first came to Toast Food, they had a planned range of potted meats, pâtés, terrines and complimentary chutneys to launch with. But they had the ambition to produce much wider ranges, including making the move from supplying restaurants direct and creating gift ranges.
They understood they needed strong food branding design and packaging to reflect the very high standards they held and the expectations of their target customers if they were going to get onto the shelves and be successful.
They turned to Toast Food and worked with us to identify exactly who they are, what their offer is and their positioning in the market.
Using this knowledge Toast Food created and developed the brand identity for Ross & Ross, including the concept of using vintage animal figures to create an identity that was clean and approachable while still being quirky and individual.
The result is a bespoke brand identity concept that can expand and adapt as the business and its products grow
This new identity was instantly put to use. There was an immediate need for packaging to be created for a range of pâté and chutneys. Labels were designed for the jars and a packaging solution was created to solve the problem of how to pack the 2 different sized jars together in one pack.

Since the initial packaging launch, Ross & Ross have grown into a successful Cotswolds Food & Drink brand.
With consistent innovation, they have added many new product lines to their collection. The brand identity has proven to be successful, as it has been very adaptable across a range of materials, from a range of packaging to advertising materials and online social media elements too.
This has meant that everything is consistent, creating a confident and trustworthy brand. Ross & Ross continue to go from strength to strength and Toast Food has enjoyed being part of this success.
