We’ve been delivering creative packaging design for its clients for over two decades.

We have seen the rise and fall of many trends and fashions, but also championed key developments that have changed the industry for the better.

From advocating more environmentally friendly inks to leading the way in the reduction of single-use plastics. And utilising the very latest in recyclable stocks and substrates.

About Toast Food Brand and Packaging Design Agency

Our packaging design work

Over the years we have been very lucky to have worked with a wide range of food and drink businesses. From unique start-up brands to established well-known brands.

The design process that we follow means that we can adapt quickly to differing requirements from client to client and project to project and our varied portfolio of work reflects this.

Client Ideas

Environmentally sustainable packaging design.

When it comes to recycling and sustainability we take our responsibilities seriously, both to our client’s requirements and the environment. We provide advice and solutions that not just meet the creative brief but also take advantage of the latest innovations, legislation, retailers strict demands and environmental considerations. We always investigate design solutions that encourage and facilitate our recycle, reuse & reduce approach to design and packaging.

Packaging design is at the forefront of the recent revolution in the use of single-use plastics. Easy to recyclable packaging and a general reduction in hard to recycle packaging has never been as important. The pressure for positive change comes from a range of different angles, none as passionate as the clients themselves, many of the products we brand are born of a desire to make the world a better place.

A great example is The Wonky Food Company, which formed to create beautiful chutneys and relishes from ‘wonky’ fruit and vegetables that would otherwise be thrown away and not used by supermarkets. Toast Food helped the team at “Wonky” to create their branding and label design, see their case study here.

So, whether it’s producers or retailers, there is a growing consensus that it is in everyone’s best interests to work together to recycle, reuse & reduce in every aspect of our lives.

Brands big and small are adapting their packaging design to be more sustainable, lighter and easier to recycle because of the demands from consumers and stockists.

It’s clear that brands, both existing and new who ignore this demand will find it harder to be stocked on the shelves and therefore bought by consumers.

We don’t have to sell the benefits of recycling, reuse & reduce as an approach. It sells itself.
